This position is responsible for collaborating with the Director of Sports Performance regarding implementation of strength and conditioning programs, nutrition oversight, maintenance and upkeep of the weight room and facility, and supervised training of collegiate athletes.

The ideal prospective candidate would be a recently graduated college student. Preference will be given to those who have studied Exercise Science; however, all professional backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Additional considerations will be given to those who have an athletic or coaching background, as well as those who are eager to gain experience coaching in a collegiate strength and conditioning setting.

Job Duties - Duties for this include assisting the Director of Sports Performance/Head Athletic Trainer implementation of all aspects of strength and conditioning for 18 varsity sports in an NCAA Division III program. - The successful candidate will support the Director of Sports Performance with all aspects of a competitive and inclusive NCAA Division III strength and conditioning program for approximately 225 student-athletes: - Implement strength training and conditioning programs for varsity sports - Collaborate with the sports medicine staff to develop and implement injury prevention and injury rehabilitation programs as appropriate - Teach proper technique and provide supervision and motivation as needed - Conduct testing to assess student-athlete performance and improvement - Assist with the development, implementation, and utilization of an online methodology for tracking student-athlete strength & conditioning activities, including the use of pre-practice readiness questionnaires
