Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks an Academic Advisor for student-Athletes to provide counseling and advising to student-athletes on major and career planning, and to maintain accurate and timely information on academic progress. To assist in coordinating student-athlete orientation and to perform eligibility evaluations. To serve on campus committees and complete projects as assigned. To prepare various reports including graduation plans, weekly academic progress reports, end of semester grade reports and certification reports. To establish and maintain relationships with all student-athletes, coaches and faculty.
(Annual Salary: $39,215 - $43,000)
Qualifications
Master's degree in Counseling, Education or a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
