Great opportunity to get first-hand entry-level experience in college athletics. The Compliance Assistant reports directly to the Assistant AD/Compliance for the UVUNCAA Division I Athletic Department. 

Summary of Responsibilities

The Compliance Assistant will assist with administrative duties, including UVU’s NCAA certification process; updating manuals and records, and NCAA tracking and rules compliance. The Compliance Assistant will also help with research projects, provide clerical support, and perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a current UVU student
• Currently working towards an applicable Bachelor’s Degree at Utah Valley University. Transcripts will be checked.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities

• Knowledge of NCAA Athletics 
• Use of computer programs including MS, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher 
• Ability to effectively communicate with administrators, coaches, staff, and students both verbally and in writing 
• Ability to manage and keep accurate records 
• Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, adapt, and work independently
