Student Worker - Concessions

POSITION SUMMARY:  

Operating and serving out of the concession stands at MACU Athletics home games.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serving and operating the concessions stands at Athletic home games 

• Prepare, maintain and tear down all food equipment 

• Be forward thinking in ideas and themes to grow the game day experience 

• Handle hot food, and sometimes prepare meals depending on the menu

• Greet each customer with kindness 

• Cleaning before and after each shift

QUALIFICATIONS:

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Must be able to stand for 2-5 hours at a time 
• Be able to lift 20lbs 
• Be able to have great hospitality and people skills 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Must maintain a 2.5 GPA
• Prior concession stand experience preferred but not required

COMPUTER SKILLS: 

Must be able to work an Ipad and the square equipment. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

Stand for 2-5 hours at a time. Be able to lift 10-20 pounds. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

Very positive and fun environment. Involved in athletics and game day experiences.
