JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Morgan Academic Center (MAC) is accepting applications for study hall monitors. Responsibilities include supervision of student-athletes during independent study, tutoring/mentoring, computer lab usage, and other assigned monitor duties. The study hall monitor position enforces MAC facility policies to maintain a quiet and safe environment conducive to learning.

This position is up to a maximum of (20) hours per week, including the possibility of evenings and Sundays, and is flexible to accommodate student schedules. Typically requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. To be considered for this position, application, cover letter and resume must be submitted online. Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
