This application is for an applicant pool. Applications will be reviewed at an ongoing rate, when there is an increase in demand for a subject or should staffing changes occur.

Pay Rate

$14.00/hour

Preferred Qualifications

• Applicants must have an overall GPA of at least a 3.25.
  
• The letter grade of an "B" is required in the course(s) in which the candidate is applying to tutor.
  
• The ideal candidate will be proficient in the area in which he/she desires to tutor and be able to convey that knowledge clearly via the spoken and written word.
  

• The tutor provides help tailored to each student's needs, so he/she must be friendly, patient, desire to be helpful, and must be able to communicate effectively.

• Additional courses in the subject area applied for would be preferred.

Illinois State University student employees are restricted to no more than 28 hours per week of on-campus employment for all positions held.
