The Volleyball Coach is responsible for developing and administering a highly competitive volleyball program; abiding by
the College and conference rules and regulations; working towards achieving the objectives of Intercollegiate Athletics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develops and administers a highly competitive volleyball program.
• Coaches the volleyball team.
• Manages all aspects of the team, including practices, film analysis, equipment, facilities, travel, schedules, and
competitions.
• Recruits and retains student-athletes who will be academically successful.
• Monitors and encourages student-athletes' academic progress and success to ensure continuing eligibility to
participate in competitions and to graduate.
• Provides oversight and assigns staff responsibilities to coordinate, monitor, and implement study hall.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (minimum credential), Master’s Degree preferred. Three to four
years of experience in Athletic Administration is preferred. A proven record of working productively with college-aged
student-athletes.
SPECIAL INFORMATION
