Volunteer Assistant Coach

Position Summary

The Volunteer Assistant Coach works under the supervision of the Head Coach for the program they are supporting. Individuals will primarily be assisting in the comprehensive day to day operations of this program.

 ** Responsibilities:**

• Assist with team practices, in-game management, and film breakdown.
• Assist with scheduling, planning travel itineraries, and gameday preparations.
• Assist with recruiting initiatives, recruitment visits, and program fundraising.
• Help foster a positive and inclusive team culture based on integrity, sportsmanship, and respect.
• Any other duties assigned by the Head Coach.

 ** Qualifications:**

• Collegiate athletics experience and/or coaching experience.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team environment that prioritizes academic success and personal growth.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to attend meetings, practices, and other scheduled events, and travel as required.
