Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
The University of North Dakota Athletics Strength & Conditioning Department, under the guidance of the Director of Strength and Conditioning, is looking for a qualified student to work as a Weight Room Assistant/Monitor for the Summer of 2024. This position will report directly to the Director of Strength and Conditioning.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and implement programming for 3-5 sports while assisting with other programs under the direction of the Director of Strength and Conditioning.

• Ability to coach and demonstrate Olympic movements, power lifts, and auxiliary movements.
• Assist coaching staff members with administrative responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director. Pay

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Accepted into a University of North Dakota Graduate Program.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize good judgement in the interpretation and application of policies.
• Excellent communication & computer skills (i.e. Excel, Word).
• One or more of the following certifications: SCCC, CSCS, and/or USAW
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
