Women’s Volleyball Assistant Coach – Full-time
Lyon College invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position as assistant coach of its women’s volleyball program beginning immediately. The primary responsibilities of the assistant coach include recruiting, assist in practice and game preparation, monitoring athlete’s academic progress, game day setup, and equipment care/inventory. A bachelor’s degree is required.
Knowledge of recruiting regulations as set forth by the NCAA D3 and the college’s chosen conference. Assist in monitoring athlete’s academic progress, assuring all athletes are making satisfactory progress toward a degree and meeting NCAA D3 eligibility guidelines.
Lyon College is located in Batesville, Arkansas, a safe and historic town of 10,000 that serves as commercial, medical, social, and governmental hub for an eight-county area and named by USA Today as the best city in which to live in Arkansas. The College currently enrolls almost 700 undergraduate students from 24 states and 16 foreign countries. Entering freshmen have an average high school GPA of 3.6 and an average ACT composite of 24 and SAT score of 1117.
