SUMMARY

The responsibilities of this position include operating/drive an ice resurfacing machine (Zamboni)
correctly and safely to ensure and maintain acceptable ice conditions, as well as helping renters as
needed. In addition, some basic maintenance. The primary hours of this position may include nights,
weekends, and holidays.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to capably operate the Zamboni machine.
• Able to put down, maintain and repair a quality ice surface.
• Open and close the Ice Center.
• Assist the patrons using the Ice Center when necessary.
•

See to the repair of any breakage or damages that occur in the Ice Center, that are of an
emergency nature.

• Keep the ice center and locker rooms clean, especially in circumstances that not doing so would

reflect badly on the general impression of the rink to a renter.
Shovel and salt sidewalks and exits to maintain safe entrance and egress as needed.

• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED
• One to three years related experience and/or training.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS

Valid driver's license required

• Act 153 clearances
