Edward Waters University Announces Leadership Transition in Athletics

Jacksonville, Fla. — August 26, 2025 — Edward Waters University (EWU) today announced a leadership transition in its Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. President and CEO Dr. A. Zachary Faison, Jr. has accepted the resignation of Dr. Ivana M. Rich-Leitner, Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics, effective September 1, 2025. Dr. Rich, who joined EWU in October 2022, has served as a member of the university's executive leadership team for nearly three years.
