Wayne State University Director of Athletics Erika Wallace announced a change in the leadership of the Warrior football program following the resignation of three-year head coach Tyrone Wheatley. Terrence Issac, Sr., who had been poised to join the program as offensive coordinator, will now lead the Warriors football team as head coach.

Wayne State University Director of Athletics Erika Wallace has announced the hiring of Eno Umoh as the Warriors' Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance. Umoh comes to Detroit after two years in the same role at fellow GLIAC school Davenport and two years at her alma mater Grand Valley State prior to that.
